History

Yummy Catering Services Inc. was established in April 2004 in response to market demands for a Healthy, Reliable and Quality Catering Service to Schools and Child Care Centres, with top priority in providing healthy meals to children.

In May 2006 Yummy Catering Services Inc. achieved their ISO 9001:2000 Certification. When customers deal with an ISO 9001:2000 registered organizations such as ours, they are assured that the company is a strong, viable going concern and one that has committed itself to continuous quality improvement and standards. These disciplined standards cover everything we do. Our ISO 9001:2000 designation gives our current and future clients peace of mind and the knowledge that they are dealing with a company committed to quality and service excellence.

In 2007 we successfully developed our Food Safety Program - GMPs and H.A.C.C.P. Plans (Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Point) with the partnership of the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and Guelph Food Technology Centre. We have expanded our facility to a State of the art facility combined with the best and most efficient quality control programs where it is a role model for all others in our industry.

In late 2008 Yummy Catering Services Inc. proudly joined the Heart and Stroke Foundation Health Check Program, bringing to life a commitment in providing healthy meals to Children. The Heart and Stroke Foundation Health Check Program identifies meals that have met specific nutritional requirements for protein, fat and sodium, and acknowledges Yummy Catering's commitment to providing healthy meals.

Yummy's success can also be attributed to our focus on continuous quality improvement. An evolving process, we continue to strive for and establish industry standards and benchmarks in professionalism.
